Meet the Luksza crew… and the extended cast of characters who somehow all ended up owning a beach resort together. ☀️🏖️ (God forbid we take a decent family photo in this decade but these will have to do!) Ralph and Amy (Mom & Dad, a.k.a. RAMY a.k.a. the original dreamers) stumbled upon Surfside Beach, TX in what can only be described as a coastal fever dream and said, “Yeah, let’s buy a resort.” And here we are going on year 4, yeehaw! RaeAnn & JoAnn (the designer daughters residing in Phoenix) usually build out restaurants, storefronts, or homes—but now they design hotels in cowboy boots. Megan (the family’s resident nurse, matcha maker and peacekeeper) and her husband Matt who is all encompassing dog watcher and property manager and the only one without an semi-snippy east coast attitude are packing up and heading to Texas too. Which I’m breaking the news here in this post… but no one said I couldn’t. Send snacks. We’re family-owned, family-run, and family-debated—every decision here was *lovingly* argued over, probably with a group text screenshot involved. If you feel a little chaos in the breeze… it’s us. 💅🌊 Oh—and Nancy & Ken (Ralph’s parents!) recently moved to Texas just to be closer to the beach… and the chaos. That’s love. Or concern. Maybe both.
